ok me and my friend are gonna box were amateurs but we know the basics and every thing were gonna get gloves headgear etc but the thing is my friend is naturally strong i mean he is 14
and he is stronger than 16 year olds and 17 year olds who train alot i mean he is really
powerful but i on the other hand have normal strength i am strong enough i can do push ups
sit ups etc and very fit so can u give me some tips in boxing like how to build up my speed
strength and reflexes any thing that would help me win a fight against a hard puncher Who
punches way faster than me i have about 3 months to prepare
Damn, Rocky! Taking this backyard boxing pretty seriously, huh? I like it! I’m not a pro, but I can give you some tips. The most fundamental thing I would say to work on would be your footwork. Don’t brawl with a guy that much stronger than you. Learn to get in and out of danger quickly and evade blows rather than just trading them. Do some punch-out drills (google them) and do a lot of core work (stomach and lower back). This will greatly improve your speed and movement. Eat right and go over the fight in your head. Visualize both landing and taking punches and visualize your reactions, as well. Good luck!
