Triathlete – First steps in sport

Triathlete – First steps in sport

Even if you have some experience in one or more sports participating in triathlons, put them together in an event takes some practice. The effect of each section of the event is of you do next to feel very different discipline than usual, especially in the early stages. When off the bike after a trip 12 miles has the strange sensation of different legs often feel at a trot 5 km in the morning. Be prepared for this, and train for it.

Glancing at the three disciplines, there are some relevant terms, we will be discussing today, in future articles, you really will examine the disciplines, and look what is needed to be done in each.

Swimming

Remember whenever there are five essential steps for efficient swimming stroke, the hand entry, catch, pull the drive and recovery. Do some research on these and use in their training. I find it useful to focus only on one particular aspect at a time rather than all of them.

Cycling

There is a very technical cycling, we will see in a future article. But for now, get on your bike, get used to being in the chair for long periods of time. Once more, do some research, get a book from the library and try to implement a new technical aspect alone at a time.

Operation

If swimming Not part of a triathlon that fear is a good chance it will be running. Oddly enough, cycling does not seem to scare people that much. Running is a joy when you learn how. I say this because at the moment we are in adulthood, we have almost forgotten how to run like we did when we were kids. To avoid injury, have to re-learn the art of the race. Just did a little research before you start running seriously. "Chi Running", a book by Danny Dreyer is excellent to guide you to natural running technique. And if you're game, take a look at some of the forums to run barefoot through a minimalist approach. This is how human beings designed to work, not some huge soles pads on their feet.

Well, a little history in the disciplines. In the next article we to look at the transitions during the event.
